Tobin & St. John’s College Spring 2017 Greece Program

Through the generosity of St. John’s alumnus Nikos Mouyiaris (’68), the Department of Language and Literatures in St. John’s College and the Department of Management in the Tobin College of Business offered in May 2017  this cross-disciplinary program in Modern Greek and Hellenic Studies, with a focus on Greek language, culture and international management!
Our trip was organized by Aristotle Travel!

1st Day-May 23rd 2017: Visit to the Hellenic American Union and Lycabettus

 

2nd Day-May 23rd 2017: Visit to Myloi Loulis, American Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, Dionysus Restaurant and Guided tour of the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, Dinner at Chocolat Royal

 

3rd Day: May 25th 2017, Visit to  the Fulbright Foundation of Greece, Lunch at Athinakon Restaurant, Lecture at the European Commission Representation in Greece, Visit and tour at the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Visit to the Kalimarmaron and guided tour of the Filopappos Hill

 

4th Day: May  26th 2017 , Visit and tour of the Hellenic Parliament, Lunch in Kolonaki at Kiouzin, visit to Apivita, dinner at Zafiro Experience with Greek dancing & cooking class!

 

 

5th Day, May 27th 2017, Visit to the Archaeological site of Delphi

 

6th Day, May 28th 2017, Trip to Hydra Island

 

7th Day: 05.29.2017,  Visit to a Liberty Ship in Piraeus, Lunch at Restaurant Zorbas in Mikrolimano, Trip to Temple of Poseidon Sounion, Farewell dinner at Thalassa Bar-Restaurant in the Olympic Marine marina on the way back to Athens
